Moscow, 22 September 2023 — X5 Retail Group N.V. (“X5” or the “Company”, LSE and MOEX ticker: FIVE), a leading Russian food retailer that operates the Pyaterochka, Perekrestok and Chizhik retail chains, announces that it has been conferred the highest credit rating of AAA(RU) by ACRA rating agency. The rating outlook is “stable”.
According to ACRA, the main factors underlying X5’s rating included the Company’s strong operational risk profile and liquidity, its leading position in the Russian food retail market, as well as its low debt burden and high profitability. In addition, the agency noted the positive dynamics of X5’s operating and financial results in the first half of 2023.
