Moscow, 18 December 2023 – Analytical Credit Rating Agency (ACRA), has assigned an ESG-B (level ESG-3) rating to X5 Retail Group N.V., which corresponds to a “very high ESG score.”
ACRA noted X5’s robust social investments, its adoption of policies, procedures and measurable performance indicators to manage key industry-specific ESG risks, as well as the Company’s strong adherence to best practices in corporate governance.
The agency also praised X5’s operating processes, which enable the Company to reuse most of its generated waste, and its automated environmental monitoring and control system, including for monitoring greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
The present ESG rating is not a credit rating.
