X5 Retail Group N.V., Russia’s largest food retailer by sales volume, announced the appointment of Jacquot E.Q.M. Boelen to the post of General Director of the company’s supermarket format. He will assume the position on May 16, 2008. Currently, Mr. Boelen is the CEO of X5 Retail Group’s Ukrainian operations, and he will continue to serve in that position.
