5Post delivers 156 million orders to nearly 30 million customers over seven years

Moscow, 8 July 2025 – 5Post, a subsidiary of X5 Group, marks seven years of operations in the Russian logistics market, having grown from a startup to one of the country’s largest e-commerce delivery players. 5Post now serves over 4,400 localities across 72 Russian regions, offering customers access to over 23,500 order pickup and drop-off points through parcel lockers and checkouts located inside X5’s Pyaterochka and Perekrestok stores.

With an audience exceeding 29.6 million unique users, 5Post has achieved an average monthly growth of 800,000 new users in 2025, while the total number of orders delivered during 5Post’s time in operation reached 156 million.

5Post showed rapid expansion and technological advancement over the last 18 months, with the development and launch of several major services. These include parcel shipping; an rFBS (Real Fulfilment by Seller) model for sellers on the Ozon marketplace; a delivery service for small businesses on standard-offer terms and the option to drop off orders at 5,700 parcel lockers; as well as less-than-truckload (LTL) freight delivery, last-mile on-demand delivery, air freight delivery and more. Over the last ten months, more than 190,000 individual customers have sent over 210,000 parcels via 5Post’s shipping service. By the end of 2025, the company plans to launch around seven additional services to meet the market’s growing demands through continued investments in infrastructure and product development.

A key milestone for 5Post was the expansion of its strategic partnership with Avito: since mid-2023, over 4.6 million people have used 5Post’s service via Avito Delivery. The service is particularly popular among buyers and sellers in Moscow and the Moscow Region, as well as in St Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, while demand for 5Post’s logistics solutions continues to grow across
other Russian regions.

Another major step in the development of 5Post’s logistics infrastructure was its expansion into the Russian Far East and Siberia in spring 2025. The opening of a sorting centre in Krasnoyarsk enabled coverage of most of Siberia, including Khakassia, Buryatia, Tuva, Krasnoyarsk and Transbaikal territories, along with the Irkutsk Region. Residents of these regions can now receive orders from over 900 partner retailers, including Lamoda, L’Etoile, Gold Apple, Rive Gauche, Chitai Gorod, Tvoе, as well as marketplaces and online platforms such as Avito and Yandex Market.

According to Mediascope and SimilarWeb data, Siberia generates around 12–18% of Russia’s total e-commerce traffic compared to 25–30% for Moscow and the Moscow Region, 10–12% for St Petersburg, and 15–20% for the Urals.

Vitaly Dyrdasov, Managing Director of 5Post, commented:
“Seven years ago, we set ambitious goals to develop logistics solutions for the e-commerce market that would be both in demand and efficient. In the early years, we focused on scaling infrastructure to make our pickup service more competitive, including through the roll-out of new processes jointly with the
Pyaterochka and Perekrestok retail chains. More recently, we have focused on expanding our range of services for partners and customers, as well as launching a delivery service for individuals. Throughout this time, our mission has remained unchanged: to provide a customer-centric service that meets
market needs. Today, 5Post is the service of choice for our partners and millions of Russians alike. We are deeply grateful to our customers, partners, and the X5 team for their trust and support. Through your contribution and our joint efforts, we have achieved remarkable results and built a highly efficient nationwide logistics platform. Every delivery we make carries part of our shared growth story.”
