X5 Group has a decentralised organisational structure. The heads of all retail formats (Pyaterochka, Perekrestok, and Karusel) report directly to the Group's CEO. Each format has its own commercial, finance, marketing, HR, security, and business development functions. Pyaterochka relies on standalone logistics, while Perekrestok and Karusel share logistics infrastructure.
X5's Business Support Department coordinates X5 Logistics, which is responsible for transportation, and X5 Import, the direct import unit. The Ready-to-Eat function oversees the production of ready-to-eat and ready-to-go meals and their delivery from the smart kitchen to stores.
Modern e-commerce channels include Perekrestok Vprok, the online hypermarket, and X5 FoodTech, which brings together the express delivery digital services of X5's chains. 5Post, a new parcel delivery service, is a standalone corporate unit. These structures are coordinated by the Digital Committee, which reports to the CEO.
